Your Farmers

CJ Cramsey and Justin Sandbach have been close friends since middle school and graduated together from Roxana High School. Their decades-long friendship built the trust, shared values, and collaborative spirit that now serve as the foundation of Paradise Hollow Farm.

We believe in bringing a hands-on, purpose-driven approach to everything we grow and raise. We believe in transparency, stewardship of the land, and reconnecting people with the source of their food. Our combined experience, passion for agriculture, and dedication to continuous learning guide the daily work on the farm. Whether we are improving soil health, caring for their animals, or engaging with customers, our mission remains the same—to nourish our community through responsible farming and high-quality, locally produced food. The Cramsey's

CJ Cramsey is a husband, a father of four daughters, and a Software Engineer/Solutions Architect with over a decade of experience. In recent years, he and his wife felt God calling them to step away from a life driven by the pace and pressures of the world and instead pursue a life more deeply rooted in Christ. “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind…” (Romans 12:2)

As they prayed for direction, God made their path clear. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5–6)

Calhoun County—with its peaceful hollows, quiet beauty, and preserved landscapes—felt like the exact place God was leading them. Those hollows carried a sense of stillness and purpose that echoed the vision God placed on their hearts and ultimately inspired the name Paradise Hollow Farm—a place where their family could slow down, seek Christ, and steward His creation with intention.

With that guidance, their family began seeking land they could steward faithfully. CJ embraced the role of farmer not as a career shift, but as a calling—an opportunity to honor God through the work of his hands and through the life he leads with his family. “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” (Colossians 3:23)

Every day on the farm is shaped by faith: planting, watering, tending animals, restoring soil, and teaching their daughters the value of honest work and reliance on God. CJ holds tightly to the reminder that “neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.” (1 Corinthians 3:7) This truth guides their stewardship and keeps their efforts grounded in humility and gratitude.

Farming has become a way for their family to glorify God in simple, daily acts—raising clean, natural food, caring for the land, and serving their community. “So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31)

And through both the challenges and blessings, CJ remains committed to this calling:

“Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.” (1 Corinthians 15:58)

Together, the Cramsey family moves forward with a mission shaped by faith, strengthened by family, and rooted in the belief that living a Christ-led life is the greatest work they can do—on the farm, in their home, and in their community.
